Studio Policies/Agreement
Monthly Tuition

The annual registration fee of $55 and $35 for each subsequent dancer is due at the time of registration.

Payment is due on the 1st of every month and covers that month's tuition.

Accounts not paid by the 10th is subject to a $25 late fee. Arrangements can be made for special circumstances.

No envelopes or statements will be handed out or mailed, however, tuition reminders will be sent monthly.

We accept Check, Credit Cards, and Debit Cards for payment (see payment options below).

Monthly tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable and we do not offer reimbursement for classes missed

Tuition is based on a course fee and not by individual classes or weeks. Some months have 2 classes while others have 3,4, or 5. All vacations, holidays, and planned/unplanned studio closures have been taken into consideration.

Students will not be able to take class if accounts are delinquent for more than 30 days.

***NEW*** Any account not paid in full by the end of the season will be auto drafted for the full amount owed.
Attendance Policy

As with any program, steady attendance is a requirement for success. Failure to meet such requirements can lead to adjustment in level.

Guardians are responsible for communicating absences to the dance studio director or dance instructor directly.

Any student who misses 3 consecutive weeks or more may be required to forfeit their class space.

Excessive absences can result in removal from recital piece.
-
Dress rehearsal is required for recital participation.
Make up Classes: There are no refund/reimbursements nor can missed classes be applied to subsequent monthly tuition.
Payment Options
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, IMPACT HAS SET UP A PAYMENT SYSTEM FOR EASY ACCESS POWERED BY DSP (DANCE STUDIO PRO). NO STUDIO FEES ARE PAID TO ANY IMPACT INSTRUCTOR AT ANY TIME VIA CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, CASH APP, VENMO, ETC FOR ANY REASON. ALL FEES ARE FILTERED THROUGH THE PARENT PORTAL. EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2024 THIS INCLUDES STUDIO SNACKS AND BOTTLED WATER. FURTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS MUST BE ADDRESSED TO THE STUDIO DIRECTOR ONLY.
Cash: See Studio Director.
Check: See Studio Director. If accepted, a $30 fee will be applied for all returned checks (NSF).
Credit/Debit Card (in Parent Portal): The studio can accept all major credit and debit cards for payment.
Automatic Billing: Parent/guardian can set up automatic billing through our DSP system. (Preferred by IPAC)
Addressing Issues: Unfortunately, due to our humanity, we do make mistakes. We welcome you as parents to bring any issue to the attention of the studio director. Please refrain from studio gossip or social media slander. We also ask that you use discretion as you address them with us. We ask that any conversations that are sensitive and private in matter be held while classes are not in session and are addressed to the director. If issues concern other parents or children and are not dance related, please do not address this issue at the studio. Please resolve this issue independently or make an appointment with the director to resolve the situation.
Studio Rules for Dancers

Promptness is important! Dancers need adequate time to be physically and mentally prepared for the demands of the dance class.

Students who arrive more than 15 mins late may be asked to observe class.
IMPORTANT Dance Etiquette: At our studio, our primary goal is for your children to have fun while learning dance technique and a strong work ethic. We expect all dancers to show respect to themselves, each other, and all dance instructors. You will see our instructors enforcing the following rules:

Be prepared for class. Proper dress code is required for all classes. See our studio 'Dress Code' tab for more information

Hair must secured back in mid or low ponytail. Ballet dancers MUST wear hair in a bun.

No jewelry in any class with the acceptation of tiny stud earrings.

Use the restroom prior to class.

Do not have frequent class absences.

No cell phones in the dance studio. (Please keep all personal items in your dance bag)

No food, drink, candy or gum is allowed in class.

Be respectful and kind to all instructors, peers and all IPAC staff.

Do not talk during class unless you are asking or being asked a question.
-
No leaning, lounging, on ballet barres or walls. No sitting in class.
-
Clap at the end of class to show respect for yourself, your fellow dancers, and your instructor.

If injured, tell instructor prior to class...work slowly and carefully or sit down and observe.

If ill, do not come to class.
We believe good dance etiquette is of equal importance to good dance technique.

No running, rough playing, or yelling in hallways or class.

Help keep your studio tidy. Please throw away all trash and be responsible for personal belongings.

No gossip, obscene language or inappropriate conversations are tolerated during class
-
No gum, food, or drink (except water) is allowed inside classes.
For ages 13 and up:

As an older dancer and role model, no inappropriate conversations or negative discussions are not allowed in front of younger dancers.

It is the dancers' responsibility to manage their time so that dance, school work, and outside activities do not conflict.
